Honestly, I have zero confidence in any politician to "fix" anything anymore. I drank the "if my team wins things will get better" kool aid for too long. @siggy47 and I talked about this before as well.

While I would much prefer Pierre Poilievre to Trudeau and think he will be less of a drag on the country than Trudeau, I don't expect him to be able to fix anything and even if he did fix a few things they will just get broken the next election cycle when he gets voted out for someone who promises people more "free" stuff.
