How do you use PGP? Signer/verifier/encrypted messaging etc. Frequency?

I use keybase and ProtonMail which I guess would count as built-in use. Outside of these I use the regular tools (gpg, gpg2) in a terminal.

When using in the terminal, are you mainly checking other signatures or signing (git commits, checksum, other)?

Mainly checking. All my commits are signed, but that's done automatically.
