Was listening to the podcast referenced at the link and Guy said with multi-sig one doesn't need to worry about issues such as the Ledger hardware wallet revelation and recovery program. True?

I don't know much about Ledger but this is generally true if each of your keys are stored on devices from different manufacturers. Casa calls this device diversity.
If your funds are protected by a 2-of-3 multisig, and only one of the keys are stored on a Ledger device, Ledger alone being compromised doesn't grant someone access to your funds.

Eventually yes but P2TR addresses are barely being used. Plus can current multisig setups support taproot?

Correct as long as the private keys are stored in different device/location/geographic location/in memory of human/ etc

Makes sense as compromising one key won't accomplish anything in 2/3 unless you are the one with access to one of the other two of course.
