Yeah right. I was reading Digital Gold last night when I came across this quote by Wences Casares:
I think whatever Jamie does or doesn't do will be as relevant as what the postmaster general did or didn't do about email.
I think bitcoiners have lost some of this indifference towards big banks with all this ETF stuff.
I don't see how anyone takes what this guy says for real. I mean a few weeks ago he was saying if it were up to him he'd ban Bitcoin. But now he says he'd defend your right to do bitcoin...
Obviously he's a liar. So there's that.
I have heard him say bitcoin is for anti-money laundering at least twice now... no one seems to be correcting him. Does he not understand he's got it backwards? Is he just slipping mentally?

He was sitting across the table from central planner supreme Lizard Warren, what else was he going to say?
reply
yeah, I'm digging it personally.
For years politicians lie to their constituents face. Fair play.
reply
I should say. I do get why people listen to him. He runs Chase... and most people don't practice critical thinking.

I think the most interesting quote from that clip was this:
"My last statement [in] the last time I'm ever going to talk about bitcoin is I defend your right to do bitcoin. I think it's okay."
Zerohedge put it in context here and bitcoiners can have a field day with it. JPM being an AP in the ETF was already a capitulation. Now it's coming out of Jamie's mouth.

In the same way that we no longer care about Jamie Dimon and the other Banksters.
Bitcoin makes them completely obsolete.

Then he should stop Chase from participating in the ETFs.
reply
So this means he will have to stick to his position for ever now?
Sounds good to me.
reply
Let's hope. I don't think this guy is capable of keeping his opinions to himself. He's a legend in his own mind. I'd rather hear him speak negatively about bitcoin than hear Larry Fink praise bitcoin. He's the one who scares me.

Mhh, I see.
Jamie is clearly feeling the heat now though.
reply
Don't care Jamie, cuz YOU GONNA DIE soon, bitch!

Jamie Dimon opinions about Bitcoin does not affect my understanding of the protocol neither does it take the value off the bag I have.

Dimon hands!

Maybe everyone is tired of listening to him, and seeing him repeat the same things over and over again, long live bitcoin

Agree, It is better to not talk about bitcoin for him. What's the point of speaking of something that you do not understand ? Can't believe these banksters

What is the most reasonable take on Bitcoin?
