Found this sound from a silly funny movie but the song is ethereal

I've seen that film, it's absolutely mental!! XD Hollywood sure know how to push our emotional buttons too with this ending.
Lovely song, thanks for the reminder.

Really nice song! Sorry I'm late to respond, been a busy day so far.

This morning I was listening to shinedowns version of simple man.
Originally written by lynyard skynyard it's a brilliant cover with some incredible vocals.

Good song as the most used instrument is the guitar and it calms the song amidst the loud-shout lyrics of the artist
reply
He's got great vocal control. The way he uses his voice to bring an almost shout in his voice, like you pointed out really adds a juxtaposed position to the guitar. It's really cool.
reply
Traumatising voice, like Adele and Sam Smith, but nice song though.
reply
I don't really know the singers back ground, but another track of theirs called 45 is just as chilling. He's seen some things for sure.
reply
The voice is a love it or hate it style for sure.

Very Nice

We always start with a song or piece of music at the beginning of the day to get us going. This was today's. Got the whole family singing along :) I always feel little sad when the camera looks towards the picture of Roy Orbison (as he was not there to be in the video) but also happy at all the wonderful music he gave to us. I was in a shop the other day and they played Roy doing a cover of a Buddy Holly song I had not heard in decades. Hope you enjoy.

Great tune.

That's really cool. Great recommendation! And I agree Roy Orbison was fantastic really complex songs which are really cool to dive into.

Fifteen years later and this song is still a classic https://youtu.be/ztygmWtWCjQ?si=FiakHaJuM3PMOnW-

Can't argue with you there. I mentioned to GR the other day about Jay Z that my introduction to his stuff was via Linkin Park.
But from that I started to explore Eminem, Biggie, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kanye and really began to enjoy that genre.

It's Wednesday and you know what that means. New episode to drop later today.

Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh buuuuddddddyyyyy!!! Woooooooo! You still got internet up there or has the deep freeze stopped electrons passing down the line? (Or photons if using fibre optic)
reply
Minus 19 with the wind chill today. Just your typical January deep freeze. Warming up next week so I can take my little one skating. Wanted to take her this week but it's too cold. Gives me time to get my skates sharpened.
reply
Ooooffff that's cold. I enjoy cold plunges and wild swimming, and those are cold but at -19 there ain't no water to plunge into 🤣 stay safe bud 👊 hope your daughter enjoys skating when the weather turns good for you.

Good day to stay inside and hang out on stacker news. Unfortunately I do need to run a few errands for a bit though.

Black label society. Zak Wilde is just awesome. Really great musician.
reply
Indeed, What a guitarist :)

Got a lot of time for guitarists of that kinda talent. The Carlos Santanas, Eric Claptons, Prince (RIP) of the world. Just quality musicians who understand their instrument to the minutiae.

totally right and the list of guitarists is long (known and unknown)

Too many to name. And I didn't even make a nod to people like Keith Richards, or David Gilmore. Or.... Or... Or... Continue names until fingers fall off.
