One could have the whole post structured like this;

Each part has it's own title. Once you click on said title, the post essentially "opens up", displaying the accompanying text of that part.
The first title would "open up" like this;

The second title would "open up" like this;
https://m.stacker.news/12657
We do that. It's not as obvious but titles get turned into a table of contents on SN.

It would for your specific use case certainly! We generally have to consider the generic case, because many things are written here without titles or with titles but without the intent of creating tabs.
If you end up writing content here with "tabs" and develop some opinions about the feature from that experience, I'd be happy to hack enhancements in.

Hm, how would I go about featuring these "tabs" in the current version of SN?
I'll definitely try to gather some input on this, I really think we're onto something here.
Are you referring to the "markdown headings" ?
Or should I simply add the link to the next post at the bottom of the preceding post?
