SCIF Briefing Post Interview - Robert Garcia
Here are some quotes I pulled out from HOC members:
Jared Moskowitz (D) FL
"There's a lot of new questions and a lot of areas to ask, to poke in based on what we got in this meeting."
Andy Ogles (R) TN
"I just think what most of the American people fear is true, that there's a concerted effort to conceal as much information as possible, both from Congress and to the general public.""I asked very specific questions, and was unable to get specific answers, and so that's a problem and we're not going to stop until we get the truth."
Tim Burchett (R) TN
"I think they're covering this thing up, these guys pretty much verified that. As I've stated, it's not their attempt to do it, but by design this issue is very compartmentalized."
("They" and "their", referring to whoever was brought into the SCIF before the ICIG and 16 Reps from the House.)
"As I've stated, it's not about little green men and flying saucers. The issue is tens of millions of dollars on an issue that we've been told does not exist since 1947, yet they're spending that money on researching something.
Anna Paulina Luna (R) FL
"Grusch had stated to myself and Burchett and another member on the phone, that there were people that were hurt hiding this information, and keeping this information safe, and/or trying to come forward with this information [...] I believe that claim after now leaving the SCIF"
"It has been apparent that there's been a movement , whether it's in the intelligence community or not, to prevent us from finding out more information on this."
Luna also stressed the importance of the term "Inter-dimensional" as opposed to "extra-terrestrial."
Robert Garcia (D) CA
"This is a topic that I think is a national security issue, and it's important that there's disclosure and transparency. I think it's also a very serious topic [...] it is not a joke."
I encourage members of the media to continue covering this topic, i think that's really important. It is not a fringe topic, it is a serious national security topic."
They clearly heard something in this meeting that gave them someplace, or someone to investigate further. Specific contractors, departments within the Pentagon, or maybe the records of IRAD (Independent Research and Development) contracts. IRAD seems so be how they've gotten away with funneling money to these projects.
