you are actually 100% correct. It's not pdf and no traditional SSD or HDD would survive very long.

It's actually stored in ceramic nanolayers, using a new German technology ( designed to last millions of years. That way, the text is protected from radiation, EMP, corrosion, and extreme temperatures ((-273°C/-460 °F to 300°C/570°F) making it the most reliable data storage ever.
