I think it certainly could be. I kind hope it is. But I think society needs a total mind set change. V4V as a concept relies upon people giving value back where they find it.
The problem however is take YouTube for example. (Non premium) sure you get ads, but there's an entire generation of people who get music right now at zero cost. Just YouTube it. I think people have gotten too used to getting things for free.
Even Spotify, apple music Amazon music etc with premium services you hardly notice you're paying for them. Sure there's an upfront cost but they're pretty much free at the point of use. (What I mean by that is you don't pay per track).
I think people's mindsets needs to be about giving value when they find it rather than taking something for free (or paying a subscription they hardly notice). I think that kind of change isn't going to happen overnight.
