Shout out to @siggy47's Islanders for defeating the Maple Leafs in OT yesterday. Sorry @kr but Siggy is 2-0 against you this season.

Last night was a night of lopsided victories in the NBA. Suns beat the Lakers by 18. Bucks beat the Celtics by 33 (and it was worse than that for awhile) and the Thunder beat the Blazers by a score of, wait for it, 139-77. A 62 point margin, which was the 5th worst beat down in NBA history. As you may know, Chet + SGA is one of my fascinations in the NBA this season but this team is more than just two good young players. They are playing some unbelievable ball. Is OKC a real contender?

We had good response to the NFL playoff bracket challenge. I will be posting the first Playoff pick 'em for the wild card round shortly.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our music x sports crosspost yesterday. I know if wasn't the most cleanly executed thing but we are throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. More to come from the Arena Anthem series in the future.

I haven't watched as much OKC as I would like to. What do you think they should do with the enormous hoard of 1st round picks they have? Is there someone to cash them in for?

I was reading through the list of picks they have and the qualifiers on them and my head is spinning. Damn that's a lot of picks.

I guess it would be Pascal or Markkanen. Jazz playing well lately though. I know there were some Markkanen rumours a few weeks back but not sure how likely they are to be sellers.

Markkanen is the right age range. I think he's more of a big than Siakam too, right? I've heard people say they could use a big body next to Chet.

He is definitely bigger than Pascal. Although Pascal would be a nice fit for them too but Markkanen is younger and has another year on a pretty cheap deal.

I am sure Jazz will want a lot.

If I'm OKC, overpaying is much less of a concern than getting the right fit.
