Good morning stackers!
It's throwback Thursday today. And I'm throwing back to 2003 with a massive euro track from a Moldovan band O-Zone.
This song became a bit of a meme, but honestly it just screams summer 03 to me.

Let's get it!
Sats to all!
Talk Music. Share Tracks. Zap Sats.
This is my throwback song, I loved and still love the song and the artist

I loved Shania Twain when she came onto the scene with the come on over album. Great vocals, catchy tracks. Everyone talks about dad rock, but if there's such a thing as mum rock Shania twain was that. 😂 Mum used to play it on repeat in our house.

That takes me back. That was played everywhere!
Yes. This is their only "good" song :) There are lots of bands like that. This would even be a good topic, "Bands that are only known for one song" :)
I did do a meta-music-mondays on one hit wonders a while back, before the launch of the territory. Perhaps I could bring that back for another visit of one hit wonders.

i like the breathiness in her voice, it brings a harsh cutting edge to her vocals, she makes it fit the track really well. she does it without sounding out of breath which can be really difficult to achieve and requires a lot of good breath control. hats off to her.
Yaknow I always thought this track was Depeche Mode whenever I heard it. I was today years old when I found out it was new order. Great track.
It was both a massive indie track and a club floor filler. Good Times!
And I love the story about Factory Records losing money on every 12" sale as the sleeve was so fancy it cost more than the record price! If you search it, there appear to be reliable sources supporting and debunking that one!
