Fun hack of today
@ekzyis failed to deliver his promise on decoding the rankings, so I'm taking the burden onto myself 👀
I always wanted to understand how the top posts/comment ranking works, and here is my findings: basically each stacker has one vote, but the real interesting part about this vote is each with a different weight, I guess it has something to do with the trust score; and I've noticed this for a while, e.g. 2 high trusted stackers > 8 good trusted stackers, but then 10 good trusted stackers > 2 high trusted stackers, it's like the combination of the power, dancing with each other, so cool.
Another hack I've learnt is you can guess your own trust by seeing the rank of the comments that you've zapped, and ofc guessing others' trust.
would you to learn more hacks? I'm writing a more detailed article on the art of stacking, with many unshared analyzes and insights, zap if you want to read it; Or shall I sell it? so "secrets remain secrets".
Perhaps a 1hr time limited post @nemo -style deletes for your secret stacker sauce recipe..?

Also, I still haven't understood why sometimes we get rewards for top posts/comments and other times it's for zaping early. cc @ekzyis

because it's being experimented atm, either rewarding the top posts/comments or those who zapped top posts/comments early.

do you know the criteria for being one way or another?
reply
it's actually random ( you can kinda of guess it tho - 50% chance 😂 ) but the honest way to do it is keep creating + zapping = stacking.
