My instinct was to make some short, sarcastic remark, but I didn't, because I myself am anticipating this ETF thing. I really believe the worst thing that can happen for all of us would be if the dollar price of bitcoin skyrockets. We will all check our dollar value, all the fake bitcoiners will trade back into fiat, and the rest of us will just feel rich. I believe the spot EFTs are the road to white and black bitcoin, it is the U.S. government's attempt to coopt bitcoin. I'm not overly pessimistic. Bitcoin will survive. I'm just not celebrating the ETFs.

Me either, I am just aware of the impact they will have. Nothing like good old BlackRock taking a % fee from boomers when they could easily store it themselves. The rich get richer.
