The Doors were an LA rock band who took the world by storm in the 1960s. It all came crashing down when lead singer, songwriter, and driving influence Jim Morrison mysteriously died in Paris in 1971. The song I chose is their masterpiece, at least in my opinion. It was used in perhaps the most important scene of Coppola's Apocalypse Now. Here is The End:
