Did any of you watch what TNT was pegging as the battle of the champions last night? Nuggets vs Warriors was a good and exciting game but in the end the Joke was on the Warriors who blew an 18 point lead and lost on a very long buzzer beater by the Joker.
Jokic is incredible. Some of the passes that guy was making were just unreal, especially for a big.
Congrats to the US junior hockey team on making the finals of the World Junior tournament. I wish them luck today in trying to take down the host Swedes. Let's not discuss what happened to Canada.
Here is something I came across earlier today that I thought you guys might find interesting. NFL is not only sports king, it is pretty much king of everything when it comes to television viewing.
Speaking of NFL. The week 18 pick 'em will be up shortly. Last pick 'em of the regular season and should be a fun one.
Sats for all, GR
I only caught the TNT highlights this morning. It kind of boggles my mind that people still argue that Jokic isn't the best player in the league.

Same here, I only saw the TNT highlights late last night on YouTube. Yes, that game winner last night was just crazy to see. One stat line brought up by EJ that was unbelievable was that Joker shot 39/44 in the last 4 games, 88.6%, simply unreal!

How about those Raptors tonight? The Giant killers return.

The Warriors are far from being a giant, especially when they are missing Green and Curry is having an off night.
But Barret put on a show tonight. Also, Quickly put up 10 assists. Good to see the new guys already putting up good numbers.

Giant in reputation, not really a giant anymore.

He was over 90% at one point but he missed a shot late in the game.

I don't watch the Nuggets that often but the dude is unreal and I think they said on the broadcast he has only missed 42 games (approx) in his entire career. That's unbelievable durability.

He doesn't jump and he barely runs, so he's not likely to get hurt.

This is a valid point. It's not like he is doing crazy pivots and cuts but even though he is a threat from all over the court, he is banging around under the basket a lot so I guess his injury risk would be more wear and tear, contact, falls than guys doing a lot of dynamic movements and putting ankles and knees at risk.
