It's not that the writing is unlike how a human writes. It's that it only writes this way by default. Human writing is incredibly varied and within the same piece of writing - degrees of ambiguity, style, substance, etc.
LLMs exhibit abnormal levels of cliched language and self-evident statements, and things are explained as if they are a matter of fact.
