I'm new to Rothbard, I like his approach of actually noticing who the power players were and what they were doing, aside from theory and fact-noting. He is surprisingly well-researched. A lot of interesting details in his work re: early American power and corruption etc. Disclaimer: he was a bit dismissive of progressives of his era (lol) and said some uncharitable things about people, but his work is worth reading
