I hadn't noticed it either, until very recently.  I suspect this is not uncommon, and the UX could be improved. So I added an issue for it in SN's Github repo, [Issue #167](https://github.com/stackernews/stacker.news/issues/167).

I have a friend who suggested that I check out stacker.news.  I did.  Looks cool.  

Wanted to tip right off the bat.  Had no sats.

Friend tried to send me some sats to my stacker news Lightning Address by doing a withdrawal from his stacker.news account by withdrawing to my Lightning Address.  Fail.

It would be nice to have the ability to do stacker.news withdrawals to Lightning Addresses
