That was a weird sequence of events. I understand why they went for the win. They had to win that game to have any hope at the 1 seed and the difference between the 2 or 3 seed isn't a huge deal. But I am surprised they didn't just kick the point after when the ball got moved to the 7.

They confused the refs while trying to confuse the Cowboys and didn't notice when the wrong guy was declared eligible.
