Yaknow, sometimes I enjoy listening to a soundtrack to films or even games.

The way that the right track can just make the whole scene feel different is amazing.

I think this is going to be the next song that I try to memorize the full lyrics so I can be at least a little bit as cool as Fort Minor.

Btw, haven't forgotten about @siggy47's post about what songs changed our lifes. I love this song so much, maybe this is one of them?

Btw, any musicians in here? I used to play guitar. Then switched to piano. But I think I actually want to be a drummer one day, lol

I used to play piano then guitar 😂 now I sing a little here and there.

This track has been a go to for gym motivation for a while. Great message about giving yourself no excuses and getting after it.

Yaknow... The more I hear various collaborations and projects Mike Shinoda has been involved in the more I think he is an absolute magician of a musician.

Sounds wicked with the orchestra!

I'm about 10mins in and just got it playing in the background whilst I do a few bits around the house. Enjoying it so far.

coincidence, I also put it on while I was doing other things. I thought you'd hear the sound of the orchestra more, it's kind of hidden :)

It does get drowned out behind everything else that's going on. But when you look (listen) for it. You can just about hear it still contributing to the overall performance.

Just pinged it to the TV to watch. And their live show looks great! Lots of energy, really cool usage of lights. Not seen any pyros yet but it looks like an indoor venue so that kinda limits the pyro usage a bit.

Michael Stephen Portnoy (born April 20, 1967) is an American musician who is primarily known as the drummer, backing vocalist, and co-founder of the progressive metal band Dream Theater. In September 2010, Portnoy announced his departure from Dream Theater after 25 years, with Mike Mangini taking his place as drummer of the band. In October 2023, 13 years after his departure, the band announced his return. During his time out of Dream Theater, Portnoy remained active, with a variety of bands and projects, including Adrenaline Mob, Avenged Sevenfold, Transatlantic, Yellow Matter Custard, Flying Colors, The Winery Dogs, Liquid Tension Experiment, Metal Allegiance, Sons of Apollo, the Neal Morse Band, and BPMD.
