I should have mentioned hope. That's what drives me along with fear and greed. I just think its not typical at least in my experience.

Awareness about uncertainty is a big one. There are far too many distracitons available to not pay any attention. And many just assume that the world moves linearly and things will stay the same indefinitely into the future

What underlying emotions drive Bitcoin adoption?

* Fear
* Greed
* Awareness about uncertainty of the future 
* Desire for security

I really think these are the top ones for most people. I think these also drive people to do many other things besides adopt bitcoin. Most people just follow the crowd though and the crowds are very ignorant and for the most part follow the influencers of society unquestioningly.
