Waiters and waitresses, most of whom have Alzheimer's, have their customers' blessing to make mistakes. Instead of frowning or complaining, waiters are greeted with smiles and thanks.
The venue is the brainchild of Shiro Oguni, a Japanese TV director, whose aim is to raise awareness about dementia and change perceptions about the disease.
