In some countries, the mention of “Black Santa” refers to the call for more racial representation so that it isn’t exclusively a white Christmas. But in Japan, it seems that Japanese parents summon Black Santa to warn their children to behave properly. Otherwise, Black Santa would come instead of Nikoniko Santa ニコニコサンタ (Smiling Santa aka the Santa Claus that children all over the world idiolise) and give naughty children rubbish. Or at least that was how it worked in my household.
These few weeks were relatively a breeze because whenever my son acted up and refused to eat or basically behave, we would pretend that Black Santa had come to stare disapprovingly at him. We told our boy that Black Santa is only visible to adults, so you can imagine how confused and frustrated he was whenever we called upon Black Santa to put him in his place.
Oh, he was definitely provoked because he would raise his voice to proclaim his dislike for Black Santa. And obediently tuck into his meal after that. He was conditioned into behaving himself - all thanks to Black Santa!
I’m sorry that Christmas will be over - and with it, the hectic, chaotic days of ensuring that he will eat his food will resume like your regular Netflix programming.

Very interesting.
As I love the roots of words, lets look at

Christ

This leads to the root:

*ghrei-

ghrēi-, Proto-Indo-European root meaning "to rub."
It forms all or part of: chrism; Christ; christen; Christian; Christmas; cream; grime; grisly; Kriss Kringle.
It is the hypothetical source of/evidence for its existence is provided by: Greek khriein "to anoint, besmear;" Lithuanian grieju, grieti "to skim the cream off;" Old English grima "mask, helmet, ghost," Middle Low German greme "dirt."
Now let's look at

Krishna

eighth avatar of Vishnu, 1793, from Sanskrit krshnah, literally "the Black One," from PIE *kers-no-, suffixed form of root *kers- "dark, dirty" (source also of Old Church Slavonic crunu, Russian coron, Serbo-Croatian crn, Czech cerny, Old Prussian kirsnan "black," Lithuanian keršas "black and white, variegated").
On this day, December 25th the Sun rises after 3 days of laying low in the northern hemisphere. December 21 starts the winter solstice. This is the Sun's birthday celebrated for 50,000 years in various myths.
Horis the Egyptian god of the sun who we get the word hour from daily is killed by his brother Set (Sunset). This is a balance between night and day, darkness and light.
Think about the light of the day. Everything on Earth is illuminated but do we really see everything or do we just see the obvious? At night we see the solar system, the galaxy, the planets, the moon, and the Universe. We see more. But we don't see so well in our immediate surroundings.
Black Santa and White Santa are Yin and Yang. Masculine and feminine energy. Left and Right hemisphere of the brain.
As a parent you teach your child to listen for the intuition that leads to virtue. This is the written law and unwritten law. Unwritten law is virtue.
The darkness is a balance to the light. Light is a balance to the darkness. It is not Bad and Good!
What this is is accepting responsibility verses manipulation by another. Regardless of the manipulation once you see it you are no long irresponsible.

Your point about yin and yang reminds me of something. In Chinese culture, 8 is an auspicious number because it sounds like “prosper” in Chinese. However, for Germans, it’s a number that they dread because 8 is the eighth letter of the alphabet, which corresponds to an infamous war leader

I've learned about "green language" that's where a meaning is abstracted from the word symbol.
Like: "The War on Terror" sounds like the "War on Terra (Earth, the truth, Torah, Dhamma, GreenTera...)
Or
"The War on Drugs" means "The War (while being) on drugs."
There are Sorcerers who employ green language to manipulate others into doing things that essentially put the karma (proof of work) onto the doer. This action by bad actors leads to the actors thinking, "I'm just doing what I have permission to do."

Germany has this, too, which, given the propensity for German myth in Japan, I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with that.
It's Knecht Ruprecht, Ruprecht the Servant, who comes with St. Nikolaus (on the 6th of December, not for Christmas), often depicted in black or brown clothes and carrying a rod. anta gives candy to the good kids, Ruprecht gives the rod to the bad ones.

I think you are right. I saw the mention of Germany in the article from which I screenshot the Black Santa image from. Thanks for the additional information!

On the left is the Bull (Taurus) and on thev right is the wiser man wearing a fish mitre. In his hand is the sun.
Astrotheology
50,000 years ago was the age of Taurus. 25,000 years ago began the age of Pisces Soon the Age of Aquarius.
Egyptian Ankh is a cross with circle, Sun on top. Many Christian churches use a similar symbol.
Ra, Horis: Sun gods. December 25th the Sun under the Northern Cross rises after 3 days in its lowest visual point of the Northern Hemisphere.

would have taken the outfit as a goat tbh

Synchronicity.
reply
but what does it mean? I don't mean synchronicity, I mean the line of ages of taurus/Pisces to Aquarius, the circle cross, etc.?
reply
If you look at literature or stories over time. Even the Bible. Moses went up to get the ten commandments and he returned and his people were worshipping a bull. This was the end of the age of Taurus. The next "Great Year" was the age of Pisces and this is where we see the fish used in symbols.
I skipped one transitions bull to ram to fish...
So there is your choice of goat!
Here is a bit about the great year.
