The Heat have now moved into a tie for third place in the ABL with a record of 13-10 and trail the teams ahead of them by only 0.5 and 1 game respectively.

The series against Adelaide began with a 5-1 Heat win. They followed that up by taking the first game of a doubleheader 4-0 before Adelaide answered by with a 3-2 win in the second game. In the final game of the series the Heat won 4-1 which sealed the big series victory.
