Yeah you just have to come at Bitcoin from this new perspective, but despite the title (which I think is more clickbait than anything) I don't think the realization that you have to be active about Bitcoin discussion to influence wider Bitcoin culture and development inherently means a lack of faith in Bitcoin culture and development working out pretty well.

Sure lost faith that everything will be perfect. They lost faith that they didn't need to participate, but that doesn't mean lost faith in its entirety.

I do actually think the commenters there handled that thread with immaturity I would guess in large part due to the choice of clickbait for the title.
