Toots and the Maytals were a Jamaican Ska and Rocksteady group formed in the early 1960s. They gained international fame when a number of their songs were featured in the movie and soundtrack album The Harder They Come. They had so many great songs, but this is one of my favorites. How do you think I feel?
My only real exposure to ska is more pop punk ska... Like Real Big Fish.... Which I know isn't real ska, but yeah, that's kinda as far as I dove into that genre. Looks like I got quite a bit of work to do.
