Is it possible to use a signing device like Ledger for something other than signing bitcoin transactions? Like signing in into a website for instance? If so, how do you do it? And what are you using it for?

Some devices support U2F/FIDO2. This works for login to web services like google, MS, etc. You can use it for SSH too. It is a kind of 2FA.
