All these cross-chain hot wallets aren't very safe, as the previous commentator mentioned running all that software opens up more room for bugs that expose your key, also these wallets don't let you run your own node, youre at the mercy of their ecosystem

Your better off getting a bitcoin focused hot wallet if thats what you're after, if you want to shitcoin, be prepared to take on additional risk and keep your bitcoin in a different wallet

At first when I got into Exodus I thought it was top notch till I noticed it also has an exchange built right into it...so technically its an exchange....when I moved coins off way different experience and level of security.

If you use shitcoins not very safe. To my understanding it uses the same sk and/or mnemonic for everything. That means that if there is some bug in some shitcoin that uses complicated cryptography you would expose your Bitcoin sk at the same time. That's a catastrophe. If you only use Bitcoin onchain with Exodus it's probably medium security.
