Eddie Cochran was a singer and multi instrumentalist who was a rock and roll pioneer. He died at the age of 21 in a car accident in which Gene Vincent was also injured. Fans of The Who will recognize today's selection. A number of his songs were covered over the years, but Summertime Blues is probably the most famous.
