Either this is true or it's a CIA hatchet job to stop El Salvador's bitcoin experiment. Who knows at this point?

this is happening in mexico and nicaragua and dominican republic right now and probably even in the US. the fact that there is a story about the president of el salvador in the LA Times speaks to the big forces at play.
look at how many stories the LA times wrote about el salvador pre 2021

all politicians are bad, but the extra attention paid to el salvador results from the fact that el salvador making bitcoin a currency means everyone else needs to abide by foreign currency rules not securities or commodity rules.

Odd they would write a story about the brothers exposing presidential ties to gangs...and not a story about presidential ties to gangs.
I wonder what will happen to these brothers now that they're cause celebre.
