The title really should say something more like "Figma and Adobe proposed-merger blocked by government". The incompatibility is entirely a matter of regulations created by some US agency.

But Figma won't say that, because they don't want to anger the Beast. Like all startups, they're primary goal is to get acquired by another company. Figma will begin searching for another company, and they want the Beast to treat them no worse than this time.
