nomad hacks of today - did anyone ever experience the IMEI block?
For example, some countries require you to register your phone if you buy it abroad, which is another reason for tax! if you don't register it after a certain time, they will block your internet.
And I've found two easy solutions 🔧
- simply use two phones - I've learnt that the block is based on the phone, not the sim! you can just switch the phone when they really block it, easy breeze
- travel abroad sometimes and then come back, which is super handy for nomads
