It is interesting to see Bitcoin leading people away from politics. Incredibly bullish. The order was different for me. It was my loss of faith in politics and government that opened me up to bitcoin.

I would say the dumb thing I did was waste money. Probably not like you are thinking though. I've always been pretty frugal but learning about bitcoin has increased that even more.
