Pretty big 4-day turn around: fewest points in franchise history to most points in franchise history.
I love stats like this.
So you're telling me that the Vikings, not only beat the leagues best team (49ers) but also that we shut out the leagues highest scoring team of the year?
But we'll lose to the bears and broncos...
Crazy season man.

The Vikings shut out the Dolphins? Good job!
Remember early in the season when the Dolphins put 70 on the Donkeys?
reply
No I'd forgotten about them 😔 ah well. Now I just look like a fool 🤣

If I were the Vikings coach, I'd still be making a big deal about shutting out a team that put up 63 later in the week.

He doesn't seem to do that kinda thing in the media... But I also would be making not just a song and dance, but I'd be setting up an entire Broadway musical tour.

Did you really beat the 49ers? Or did they beat themselves?
I mean Vikings got the W and that's what counts but I seem to recall the D coordinator calling an all out blitz with 14 seconds left in the half and the Vikings on their side of the field. Then the CB goes for a pick instead of the PBU and gets it ripped out of his arms by the WR (great play by him) leading to a free 7 points and the Vikings won by 5.
That being said, the Vikings played very well and Cousins was impressive that game.

We Vikings'd our way into a Win, one thing I can say about the Vikings, is they will always surprise you. Be it surprisingly awful or surprisingly great. But surprising nonetheless

Just win baby. It will be interesting to see what direction they go next year without Cousins. I think they have the makings of a pretty good team when everyone is healthy and I like your coach but it's a QB league.
reply
I hope we resign cousins. I've liked him for years. He's a decent QB and I don't think we're going to do any better. In fact cousins has been an asset to us and has been playing really well.
reply
Going to be pricey.

I'm hoping that now he's made his money, he looks to go the Brady route, take team friendly route, so we can afford superstars like Jefferson and an oline to keep Kirk upright. He has no obligation to take a team friendly deal, but there's an element of, if the QB soaks up the cap, you ain't gunna have much of a team.
