I actually have quite the intricate setup, I might share it as a post if it seems interesting.

I have a raspberry pi 3 with Lakka (basically a RetroArch OS) connected to my TV as my main, then I have my save files synced to my phone for playing on the go and lastly, when the TV is in use by someone else, I can continue from my PC.
