Ouch! If this keeps up companies are going to have to hold Bitcoin just as a hedge against these kinds of things sucks for them, but hey bullish for the price am i right? lol, everything is bullish for price.
If you're a P2P trader you'll likely be the one buying those ransome coins in the future too

As someone who as worked in the games industry and a big fan of Insomniac Games, if this is true, I find the behavior's of these hackers disgusting.
That said, I also have a sneaking suspicion these media reports are using it to attack Bitcoin. It's more fuel for Senator Warren's dumpster fire.
As far as I can tell Insomniac hasn't made an official statement about it yet. It'll be interesting to see how it unfolds.
