There was this one time when a bank person misunderstood me on the phone and closed my account stealing thousands of dollars of my hard earned money.

Banking doesn't work.

It took a month but I got my money back but really... I've never been the same. Bitcoin works just fine. Only I can screw myself with bitcoin.
