Yes, near the Hoover Dam at Lake Mead, you can rent houseboats, but they tend to be quite booked during the summer. Some even come equipped with a small slide on top – perfect for a family trip.


You mean Lake Mead? I've never been there, but it seems like a nice place. They call it "an oasis in the middle of the desert". I wouldn't go anywhere near Las Vegas during the summer though, the heat is too much for me.

Any exciting travel plans coming up? Where is your next vacation destination?

My family and I are going to Vegas to see a show at the new [Las Vegas Sphere](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphere_(venue)) in January. We will also do a short visit to the Hoover Dam and spend a day in Red Rock Canyon. Will probably go on some hikes while we are in Red Rock Canyon.
