I think it's a point about inflation rates driving Bitcoin price, rather than the more trivial point that Bitcoin prices are higher when there's absolutely more money circulating (which is true for everything).
Do You mean CPI? If You only watch the Delta then rising cpi is an asset price killer I guess - at least in some sectors

No, change in M2 is the rate of monetary inflation. That's what we're looking at, correct?
