There *were* [official](https://nitter.salastil.com/FA_Touadera/search?f=tweets&q=Bitcoin&since=&until=&near=) murmurings, in 2022, that the Central African Republic (CAR) was the second nation to make legal tender... but I think that turned out only to be a CBDC called *Sango*.

Also, I knew that Honduras last year made a small part of it's nation a 'Special Economic Zone' read a Reuter's piece [here](

But it's never caught the public imagination as ES.
