With more content and from different topics in the same place, it is going to be harder to be a curator. Maybe we need some kind of filtering territories setting. But for now it is ok without it. It is exciting to see this development.
different topics in the same place
what do you mean with this? aren't territories trying to achieve the opposite?
reply
Oh yes it is true. but when seeing home, you see them all. Before territories, a curator could just see home to read all posts and not miss anything interesting.
Maybe this leads to some curators reading only in some territories but you have to go switching territory one by one. It is easier to see home. But with many territories, the home is going to be wild.
Do you think we could have some user setting like custom feeds where the user could make some lists to group territories by categories?

I think I am confused if you mean the front page with home or /recent of home because of this:
Before territories, a curator could just see home to read all posts and not miss anything interesting.
if you mean hot: a curator isn't supposed to read hot but recent. hot is already curated
if you mean recent: that's still the case, no? since everything still shows up there?
Do you think we could have some user setting like custom feeds where the user could make some lists to group territories by categories?
not sure about the categories part but i think a territory filter (with multi selection) will definitely be useful.
territories will have subterritories. so they should already be grouped by category in some sense at least.
but it's all a big WIP :) i am still reviewing the code for territories that was already released, lol
