I think so. I just started using it and Its easy to miss messages from people and I already had to send someone to Nostr to establish a conversation :(

Go to your SN wallet - withdraw - select LN address, type the user.
Then put the amount in sats you want to pay, put the comment and optional your SN name or other name bellow.
DONE, you have a private conversation over LN.
