I never go to onboard people older than 65-70 and also basic tech illiterate. IS WASTING TIME and doesn't make sense. With old ones, just tell them: "if you want your grandkids future to be secured, just let me handle this situation by buying BTC for them. If you want to participate with funds, I will be glad to convert all the fiat money you are willing to put, into BTC for your grandkids." Done. Don't complicate things. These people will NOT see Bitcoin thriving or using it. They will just die soon. THIS IS THE TRUTH THAT MANY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR BUT I WILL SAY IT ANYWAYS
Focus on the young ones ! They are the future. Teach them and prepare them NOW!
Disclaimer: I am also old fucker, 50+ years, but I have a long experience in tech, so its easy for me
NEVER ONBOARD A GRANDMA! She will lose the sats.
I am also over 50, but thankfully I have some skills. I agree that it's a big challenge, however it's older people that have had the years mining fiat and have managed to keep a little of it. I have another family member that I orange pilled back in 2020, and he's closing in on 80. He had quite a bit more BTC than I did until he panicked when the market dropped earlier this year. That's another story. I have had to help him recover his funds on multiple occasions! For which I was rewarded. This is where I think services like Nunchuk are quite valuable. As for the young, Bitcoin might be the agonist, or Shibboleth that separates them from the lost youth of the blue hair pronoun generation. Rather than pronouns in their bio they have a wallet address, or LNURL. Rant over...
