It's Saturday, which means it is temporarily poll day.
The inaugural NBA in-season tournament is humming along and we are starting to get some clarity on which teams will move onto the playoff rounds. Maybe it is just the added incentive of @undisciplined's pool, but I have found myself much more engaged in this tournament than I thought I would be when it was announced.
I think this has been a big win for the NBA (besides the court designs. I cannot belabour this point enough, the courts are awful).
What is your takeaway from the NBA in-season tournament?
Great- makes games more compelling75.0%

I just saw that a bunch of sats got laid down on the Chiefs. A Raiders upset would be quite lucrative.

Someone is underestimating the Silver and Black.

Someone also might have badly misunderstood the odds mechanism.

I'm with you, and actually I like some of the court designs. They need to reign in some of the egregious eye sores, but some of them have been pretty aesthetically pleasing.
My big takeaway has been that most of the stars really do seem to care about this. I also think it was a really smart time to do it. Nobody used to care about this part of the schedule and it wraps up before people are 100% locked into the NFL.

The Nuggets don't seem to care. Haha.
