I am thankful that access to software today has never been easier. The source code of most of the worlds most powerful software is right there and can welcome contributions from people all over the planet. Legacy, proprietary software is being shunned for Free and Open Source Software.

I am thankful for the engineering effort went into projects like Proton, Wine, DXVK, and SteamOS that lets a whole new generation experience decades of computer games without legacy commercial OSes.
