You might have to be a parent to appreciate this one.
TMI, but our daughter finally pooped on the potty on her own volition. It's been months of battles over this and now we might finally be free of diapers.
This put a huge grin on my face. My four year old recently learnt how to pee into the towel bowl! Hopefully pooling will come soon after this milestone.
Also, whenever my boy passes out an exceptionally big poop, my wife and I will show it to each other and marvel at how it can come out from someone so tiny
An important milestone. Brings back memories. The circle of life. Someday our kids will be happy when we poop on the potty.
(Sorry. That was unnecessary)
I feel you man. Our 2 older kids got toilet trained rather quickly and smoothly, but our little one gave us such a hard time toilet training. He got to a point where he could sleep overnight without accidents, knows when he needs to pee and when he needs to poop, but just would not go in the toilet, and insists on putting on a diaper to pee/poo. We eventually decided to not buy anymore diapers and told him he needed to learn to go in the toilets or go in his pants. He figured it out in within a day. I think at a certain point in their maturity, kids can just figure things out on their own, provided that the parents don't spoil them.
We're not quite there on going overnight without an accident, but she was peeing in the potty fine for months. At least we have something to build off of now.

Of all times to be alive (as ridiculous as the world can be sometimes), can't think of a better moment to pick. We're part of something truly special being built. Glad to have found this tribe too, to share it with.
Time (our most valuable asset), health, family, happiness. I love how Bitcoin harness’s time in space. And hopefully prioritizing health gives me more time too! Long live Bitcoin! My most thankful rabbit hole I’ve jumped into
I am thankful that other humans, prescient humans, built privacy enhancing technologies for everyone, things like - data encryption, zkp, mixnets, darknets, Bitcoin, cryptocurrency.
I am thankful that access to software today has never been easier.
The source code of most of the worlds most powerful software is right there and can welcome contributions from people all over the planet. Legacy, proprietary software is being shunned for Free and Open Source Software.
I am thankful for the engineering effort went into projects like Proton, Wine, DXVK, and SteamOS that lets a whole new generation experience decades of computer games without legacy commercial OSes.
I’m thankful to reacquaint myself with Bitcoin a few years ago — going deep down the rabbit hole this time — and having an opportunity to stack sats under $100k.
I’m thankful to have eliminated fairly significant consumer debt over the past 12-18 months.
I’m thankful for a healthy family, amazing dog, and great friends.
I’m thankful to exist during the greatest time to be alive.
Thankful for my health, access to good food and clean water, Bitcoin, my girlfriend, family, community, job, my past experiences, and all the plebs around the world pushing us towards a more prosperous future for everyone on the planet.
Right now, I’m thankful because I’m flying off to my parents-in-law’s place in Japan tomorrow. Anticipating a month of renewed connections (and some reprieve from taking care of my 2 kids haha)
Happy Thanksgiving !
