I'm not a fan of using the term "True Bitcoiner".
Most people who label themselves as "Bitcoiners" are actually Fake Bitcoiners. Simply "investing" in Bitcoin doesn't automatically make you a Bitcoiner.
  • People who use r/Bitcoin are Fake Bitcoiners.
  • People who trade/gamble btc are Fake Bitcoiners.
  • People who sell btc to take profits are Fake Bitcoiners.
  • People who refuse to leave iPhones and Apple are Fake Bitcoiners.
  • People who say "Bitcoin is the best" while holding shitcoins as well are Fake Bitcoiners.
  • A big chunk of people here on Stacker.News are Fake Bitcoiners.
  • Anyone who doesn't have ALL their savings in Bitcoin is a Fake Bitcoiner.
  • People who DCA Bitcoin over long periods instead of going all-in are Fake Bitcoiners.
The term "Bitcoiner" has lost all meaning, that's why we had to come up with a new term: "Bitcoin Maxi" or "Bitcoin Toxic Maxi", those are the "True Bitcoiners".
A "Bitcoiner" is much, much more than just holding Bitcoin. In fact, the quantity of your BTC holdings doesn't matter. It's the percentage of your wealth in Bitcoin that makes you a Bitcoiner, and the rest of the things Darth mentioned bellow.
When you truly grasp the concept behind it, you become a Maxi. If you take a look at my Bio, you'll see that I made the conscious decision to remove the term "Bitcoiner" altogether some time ago.
