Yes this is a big one; i've tried my best to become more creation-oriented as well rather than consumer. Infinitely more satisfying (and cheaper) to knit your own sweater or cook your own meal rather than consumer others'.
or it can be more expensive if you want to create better quality and long-lasting ones!
But generally I prefer learning how to fish or at least knowing the honest fishermen than keep being feed the average or bad fish 🎣

Yogurt - just started making it. Don't need a yogurt maker or anything, but I do use a thermometer to get the milk to 180 degrees F, then cool it down to 115 before I add the yogurt. It's tasty. Save some yogurt for the next batch
