Not new, but perhaps new to someone else. I think that's what I find the most fun about music is looking backwards in time to find unique or new music to me, not just stuff being freshly released.
Morphine - Cure for Pain Band featuring a lead sax instead of guitar, I was blown away when I first heard it years and years ago. Definitely unique.

I liked that. New to me is good, I don't mind new to me. I don't care if it was released 6minutes ago if it's good and new to me or to someone else than that's why we do this thread. And don't you panic, like I said to GR, there's going to be a great December theme that'll be more towards your collection.
I enjoyed the sax a lot, don't get me wrong I love good guitarists but a guitar solo is kinda the done thing. A sax solo is great, band I saw in my teens called Turisas had a violinist that did the solos instead of their guitarist and it was excellent.
