First gen social media is dead. Those that have moved on to next gen social media aren't missing it and those who have become privacy conscious might reminisce about it but ultimately know we can't go back.
There is no going back. Meet with your friends in real life instead.

Lol elder millennials are tuning out for sure, I remember how hyped facebook was when it came out, i never had it and I literally got sat down by a friend in front of their PC and forced to make a proifle
We've come along way since poking and newsfeeds got progressively cringe, and crazy, and some of us have learned our lessons and the novelty has definitely warn off for me

I view posts on twitter the way I view the splatter of roadkill on the side of a highway. I look aghast will passing by it, wondering why it made such a bad decision to spill its guts out in public like that.
